Citizen Of The Red Ñuñoa ñuñoina alert the community to not be swayed by misleading media campaign by Mayor Sabat.
Following the recent approval of the regulatory plan, the mayor of Providencia looking disclaims all liability for the urban and social crisis experienced by the community for over 4 years.
Today, with the new Zoning Plan will perpetuate and exacerbate these destructive dynamics of the previous proposed height restriction to less than 18% of the territory of the commune, corresponding to the current zone Z3, and fully saturated with high buildings, and maintaining the same conditions in the present zone Z4, which is reduced to about 40% of Providencia. Both
residential areas, which the publicity machine of Sabbath, would cover 70% at low altitude, actually corresponds to 58% of communal land, whose maximum building heights of 5 and 7 floors, may be violated by the benefits ordinances that provide power, towers of greater height.
The remaining 42% corresponds to the limits of Providencia and main streets, staying mostly in headroom. In short, no corner is Ñuñoa exempt from being ravaged by petty private construction business, which contributes nothing to improve the quality of life of ñuñoinos.
Thus, it is not difficult to understand the demagogic maneuver that the mayor intends to clean up his political image after perpetuate the power of the municipality, once again.
ñuñoína community knows the effort that the Red Ciudadana by Nuno has been to enforce the limited rights granted by law to citizen participation and oversight in the approval process of the present PRC. This enables us to expose the serious transgressions of the law incurred, both the mayor and most council Municipal during the process, bypassing, among other irregularities, more than 640 observations made by residents to the proposal of the PRC.
For all these reasons, and with the certainty that the only possible way to stop the flawed way in which local authorities would impose their will, is to exercise sovereignty, Red Ciudadana by Nuno calls more urgently than ever to ñuñoinos, to react to these systemic abuses of power by the municipality, thereby preventing that our rights are trampled with impunity, choose the community we want.
is why, on behalf of more than 7,300 ñuñoinos that their firms have supported the call a community referendum, in coordination with key local organizations, we reiterate our call today ñuñoina community to join this crusade, stepping to the task of gathering the 12,000 signatures that allow us to democratically resolve the future of Providencia.
